Green China in Saint Peters

For a single location that is literally family run , the food is amazing the staff (mom dad and kids ) are efficient and courtesy and always get your order right . If they ever wanted to stop selling food they could sell their business model

They screwed up our order a couple of weeks ago. They offered to replace it on our next visit. Which is fine, but they screwed it up a SECOND time when we went and got the replacement order today. I called and spoke to some woman and after I told her what happened she told me to hold on and put me on the phone with some man. I told him I want a refund because I'm tired of getting the wrong food. He told me I can't get a refund because they already replaced the food once. I think if you screw up TWICE, the least they could do is give me my money back. My family and I won't be going back since they can't follow simple directions and have terrible customer service.

We have been ordering from Green China for years!! However we normally order from the location in Lake Saint Louis and the food is always amazing!!!! This location was a complete disaster! First they didn’t give my fiancé my debit card back he didn’t notice till he was home they did call and let us know it was there but we then noticed they forgot to give us the sauce for the dumplings! So when he went to go get my card they at first wouldn’t give the card to him even though he was just up there paying with it....they did give us the dumpling sauce! But when he got home I realized there was no rice with our garlic beef.... I took a good look over our order and the crab Rangoon was burnt the dumplings were so thick and undercooked and there was a weird black thing in my egg drop soup... I tried calling the store to complain 2 times and couldn’t get through...... I have to say will not ever be going back to that location ever again! Horrible horrible experience!

It seems like a family-owned restaurant with all enthusiastic kids. A small boy took my order and he knew everything which surprised me. I got my order fairly quickly. They have the real Chinese test and would love to visit in the future as well. A highly recommended restaurant for food enthusiasts.

Flavor and quality just wasn't there. Hunan shrimp with black bean sauce was bland but shrimp pieces were huge. Crab rangoons were very sugary sweet. If you like more of a garlic crab rangoon this isn't for you. Fried rice was terrible. Website states they take competitor coupons - FALSE! Cashier wouldn't accept First Wok coupons.

My kind of Chinese restaurant! EXCELLENT food and willing to make it like you want it. If you like it spicy be sure to ask for 9-1-1 style! VERY reasonable. Excellent delivery service too. My favorite locally for the money and my go-to Chinese restaurant.

Let me start by saying that there food is delicious. That being said, they have consistently forgotten to give parts of my order, to which I don't complain...it is what it is. Well tonight I finally decided to call and complain. I was transferred to a man who told me that he didn't here me say part of my order, then said that the dumplings never came with rice ... Which they always have in the 3 years I've been ordering from them. Keep in mind that it was a female who took my order. And of course they don't give you an itemized receipt, so there is no way to prove it. Anyways I will no longer order from Green China. It's a shame because of how good the food is, but I won't tolerate with liars.

EXCELLENT Crab Rangoon and Plain Fried Rice. I order pick up from here at least once a week and ALWAYS enjoy it. I always gave leftovers for the next day (or for a midnight snack).

Food is good and quick. Seating is limited and in the winter it is not a good idea to eat in, just take home. When the doors open you get a bunch of cold coming in. Part of the problem is family members are taking up two tables, but the kids need to be somewhere.

Excellent crab rangoon!! Not a buffet, but their other food is good, too.

One of the more authentic Chinese places I have been. I didn't have a chance to order a lot and while this was my first experience at this location, I can't complain. The staff was very friendly and made haste with my food. if you want authentic Chinese food without having your plate over filled with vegetables with your chicken, this is definitely a place I recommend. The crab rangoons along with the rice and general tso's chicken, was terrifyingly delicious. Sounds very authentic and will go back.

Kind of a long wait, but worth it!

Good food and great service

Ordered food and was told an hour wait. Not a problem generally however when the food arrived the sweet and sour chicken tasted odd (to put it politely it tasted expired or freezer burned) and the baby fried shrimp tasted off as well. Not to pleased with this visit as I have been going there since they opened.

The crab ragoon was very good but I didn't like she she'll it was in, it was very powdery and lacked taste. The rice was also very yummy and I enjoyed every bite, however the chicken was rough and didn't taste very fresh. I think I'll go back for the rice and the ragoon for sure, but don't think I'll be ordering the chicken any longer.

Always our favorite Chinese indulgence! Consistently fast, courteous and always delicious!! Ok now I must order some....;)

They are really good but EXTREMELY inconsistent with what time they stop delivering. I've had food delivered at 8:45. I asked to order for delivery and at 8:30 and they won't deliver. I asked when they stop delivering "usually between 8 or 9"

Good and hot food

Customer service was great, crag Rangoon decilous, but the main coarse was gross. Fried rice was too wet, and the chicken lomein smelled like donkey. I had to throw it away.

Best Chinese food in Saint Charles hands down

Awesome Chinese food. Been going here for nearly 20 years. They did forget our chicken sticks once. However, that's pretty good for 20 years of visits! Just wish they would deliver to my house!

It’s been over 6 years since I’ve been back and nothing has changed about this amazing Chinese food place. A place I would claim is the best in the area. I’m biased only on the fact that I use to teach right across the street... However, since living in Houston the past few years nothing down there I would claim even comes close. Same larger portion/amount of food... Same price, and same wonderful kids/family hanging out low key (just a little older these days lol) and they easily didn’t include pork and asked me prior to the final closing of order to confirm. Nothing bad to say here... I wish I could give this place more stars and I wish they were down the street from me in Texas! =]

They say they deliver with a minimum fee. Called today to order lunch well over $20 and they are not delivering till 5p.

Green China has great chinese. Always very hot food and tastes good. Very short wait, as you can call them and place an order and pick it up in 10 minutes or less many times. They also have delivery.

The crab rangoon is huge, very tasty. We ordered chicken with cashews, Mongolian beef and hot and sour soup. This was our first visit. All the food was excellent with plenty of leftovers for lunch the next day.

This is the best Chinese food in the region. Maybe the best crab rangoon I've ever had anywhere.Generous portions of delectable everything at Green China. Good people, great food.

We have been going to Green China once a month or so for over 10 years. Great food at a reasonable price. The best Crab Ragoon we've ever had. So glad they decided to close on Mondays for some much needed rest.

Reasonable prices, generous portions, and the some of the best crab Rangoon around make this place a must try! Great service and friendly staff too!

I ate at the location in St. Charles on 1st Capitol. It must be new because it doesn't even show up on a Google search. I just found my new favorite Chinese food. This is by far the best Crab Rangoon I've ever had. They hand make them!! I also had the Mongolian Beef and it was really good with big pieces of tender beef. I highly recommend eating there if you are in the St. Charles area.

I have always had a good experience here, no matter what I ordered.

Best Crab Rangoon around! I also absolutely love the Beef Lo mien and chicken/pork fried rice.

The food is great! My only complaint is they didn't bring any fortune cookies in the bag with my food! I know they're free and I know I sound greedy but that's the best part of ordering chinese! And my son was super disappointed there was no cookies.

So fresh delicious food Everytime I order! Very friendly staff and very clean kitchen which is always a plus! I love the pork friend rice for some reason it is just amazing here not sure how they do it ! Thanks guys you have made it to my number 1 Chinese food place ! And that was hard to do seeing as I was a die hard fan of ho-ho's in St Charles .. the St Peter's location is my fav. High five green China staff!

We tried this place because of the good reviews, but our luck was not so good. The service, pace and employees all were fine, but our food was disappointing. One of us had Sweet and Sour Chicken, but they forgot to put the sweet/sour sauce in the bag. Thankfully, I had some sauce packets at home. The "famous" crab rangoon was huge and filled with plenty of crab stuffing, but the shell was soggy and tasteless. I ordered Shezuan Beef (sp?) and it was really bad. The sauce was jell-like and the whole thing had a smell and taste of fish. I called to complain and a female employee took my number and said they would call back...it's been over 2 days and I have not heard back from them. I also got stomach upset about an hour after I ate the few pieces that I DID eat.

I travel 16 miles once or twice a week for beef w/broccoli, beef snow peas, shrimp lobster sauce or special lo mein. Make your next stop at GREEN CHINA please. It is worth every chop sticks licking good 👍
